Copy protection is by way of a product code/serial number.You’ll first need to install the Korg Software Pass.A sample can use different durations, pitch, shapes and gate lengths each time that it runs the sequence. Also in wavestate the timing, pitch, volume shape and gate settings can easily be set up in separate lanes. Each of the Layers can use a wave sequence or a multisample. In wavestate (versus Wavestation) it uses a Performance made from up to four Layers.
It includes four Layers with vector control, a substantial amount of modulation, modeled filters, a large number of samples, 64 stereo voices and 14 effects. Korg’s wavestate native is the fully-compatible software version of the hardware wavestate synthesizer. It was possible to use up to eight patches in what was called Performance Mode, and each of those patches could utilize up to four oscs. It could also use a wave sequence by using a certain order of waveforms to generate many types of patterns. Each of those oscs could use various waveforms from its onboard collection of sounds. You were able to use its joystick to mix between four oscillators. It used a vector synthesis system and was able to shift between different waveforms. The Korg Wavestation was released in 1990. Before I start, I just want to give you some background on the synthesizer that was really a prequel (of sorts) to Korg’s wavestate native.
